Successful 2008 Seminar Day

2008 Seminar Day

Thanks to all who came along to The Children's Hospital at Westmead on Sunday 10th August. There were a number of new TSC families that joined existing members to hear from some great speakers:

  • Dr Merideth Wilson, Clinical Geneticist, explained the role a clinical geneticist through diagnosis and management of TSC
  • Dr Richard Webster, Neurologist, reviewed the major neurological features of TSC and the latest research into new treatment
  • Dr Maya Chopra, Genetics Fellow, brough us all up to date on the basic and applied research that is happenning around the world, including the work done through the TSC clinic at Sydney Children's and Westmead Children's Hospitals

The day also included the ATSS Annual General Meeting and a great session to get some input into the ATSS Strategic Plan.
