Successful Medical and Family conference Print E-mail
The organisers and participants of 'Advances in Tuberous Sclerosis: from pathway to therapy' are now returning to their homes, families and jobs. They spent the weekend at Sydney Children's Hospital learning more about Tuberous Sclerosis and the exciting research into causes and new therapies and models of care that are giving real hope to the lives of TSC affected people around the world.

In the coming week, more information about the conference will be posted on this site. This will include materials from the sessions - in case you were unable to attend or didn't take all the information down!

The ATSS Committee would like to thank:

  • Her Excellency, Professor Marie Bashir, Governor of New South Wales, for opening and attending the conference on Saturday Morning
  • The Sydney Children's Hospital, particularly Drs David Mowat and John Lawson for their enthusiasm and energy in both the planning for the conference and on the weekend itself
  • All ivnited speakers, particularly Prof David Franz and Dr Chris Kingswood
  • All attendees for taking the time to travel to Sydney and share their own TSC experiences with others
