Adam is 36 years old and was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex at 2 to 3 months of age. He has cognitive difficulties, no verbal speech and has been writing poetry since he was 13 years.

He communicates with and types his poems using a computer, with physical support to stabilise his body. The poems in Windows were written by him when he was an adolescent. Adams poetry embraces youth, love, disability and the environment through 30 poems including illustrations by Adam and his father.
