2010 Seminar Day Print E-mail

The 2010 ATSS Seminar Day and AGM are to be held on Sunday August 22 at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. The programme, is available here. Topics include genetics, neurology, Epilepsy and its impact on learning and a session on Caring for the Carer. Speakers and topics have been selected to be of interest to families that are new to TSC as well as those who have attended many similar events in the past.

The Annual General Meeting will also be held on this day. The revised ATSS Constitution will be presented for acceptance by the members and nominations and elections for positions on the ATSS Committee will be conducted. Every TSC affected family is invited to attend. The Seminar Days provide an opportunity to:

  • meet others affected by TSC
  • learn from experts
  • relax in the knowledge that other people understand and live a similar life to you
  • have a day free of caring
  • know that medical services for TSC affected people are improving
  • understand that worldwide research is being conducted into many aspects of TSC.
